Terms of Use
DRAFT — pending review by qualified Nevada counsel. Not legal advice. Do not rely on this draft as final legal terms until reviewed and approved by an attorney licensed in Nevada.
1. Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, submit a report, respond to a listing, or vouch on VegasBlacklist.
2. Account responsibilities. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for activity under your account. Do not share your login credentials.
3. Prohibited submissions. You may not submit content that is knowingly false, that doxxes or harasses a private individual without a documented public-interest basis, that includes fabricated or manipulated evidence, that targets a competitor in bad faith, or that otherwise violates the Community Content Rules.
4. Reporter representations. By submitting a report, you represent that: the information is true to the best of your knowledge, you have a good-faith basis and supporting evidence for the claim, and you are not submitting the report primarily to harass, extort, or gain unfair competitive advantage over the named party.
5. Subject response rights. Anyone named in a report has the right to submit a public response free of charge through the Respond or Dispute center. This right cannot be waived, sold, or conditioned on payment.
6. License to host content. By submitting content (reports, responses, evidence, comments), you grant VegasBlacklist a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and moderate that content on the platform.
7. Moderation discretion. VegasBlacklist reserves the right to reject, edit for compliance with formatting/evidence rules, correct, or remove any submission under the Moderation and Publication Policy and the Corrections, Appeals, Archival, and Removal Policy.
8. No guarantee of publication. Submitting a report does not guarantee it will be published. Meeting the minimum evidence threshold is necessary but not sufficient.
9. No guarantee of accuracy or completeness. VegasBlacklist reviews submissions for compliance with its publication standards; it does not independently investigate or verify every underlying fact, and does not guarantee that published content is accurate, current, or complete.
10. Not legal advice. Nothing on VegasBlacklist, including these Terms, constitutes legal advice. If you are considering legal action related to a listing (as a reporter or as a named party), consult a licensed attorney.
11. Prohibited regulated-eligibility use. See the Prohibited Uses / FCRA Notice. Information on this site may not be used for employment, housing, credit, insurance, or other purposes covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act or similar law.
12. Reporting abuse. Abuse of the platform (fake accounts, coordinated brigading, harassment via the vouch or dispute system) can be reported through the Respond or Dispute center and may result in account suspension.
13. Suspension and termination. VegasBlacklist may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Community Content Rules, with or without notice depending on severity.
14. Dispute resolution / arbitration. [PLACEHOLDER — governing law, venue, and any arbitration or class-action-waiver clauses must be drafted and reviewed by Nevada counsel before this section is considered complete. Do not publish without counsel sign-off on this section specifically.]
